[FIXED] Digitals' Feedback (Bug?)

hi,

i have the buttons on my controller programmed to switch ableton’s channels on and off. When i press a button, the light goes off to see that the corresponding channel is muted. BUT: This behaviour only works when i set the buttons’ port and feedback source to “midi + usb” although i don’t have anything connected to the controller’s midi ports! When i only select “usb” (or “usb + local” for the feedback source) the button stays off and only lights up when i press it…this isn’t expected behaviour, right?

Hello @bbaker!

Looks like a bug, maybe in Kilowhat.

I am looking at it, it might take a while.

Thanks for reporting!
As soon as I know what’s going on, I’ll come back here.

Cheers!

Hello @bbaker!

It is fixed now!

Can you please test?
You can try going to kilowhat, resetting all the USB and MIDI feedback source configurations and uploading to your controller.

Please report back what you find
Cheers!

hi,

the feedback source still has to be set to “midi + usb” to receive a correct feedback…(setting the port to “usb” only is ok)…

I don’t understand, sorry.

Now setting only to USB should work, there was a bug before, but now that’s working ok!

Try maybe clearing cache on the Kilowhat site from the browser settings.

Do you see USB first on the list on feedback source config?

…ahhhh…first on list was still “midi”…but after clearing the cache everything is perfectly fine and working as expected now!
thanks for your support!
