Hardware hacks to The Mojito

Here’s a video I just posted describing some modifications to my personal Yaeltex design, The Mojito. I’d love to hear your feedback on the ideas.

Much gratitude to Mateo, Franco, and the whole Yaeltex team for supporting this kind of creativity. Thank you!!!

Hey @moldover!

Thank you so much for sharing this with us, amazing views and excellent hacks !!

Enjoy the Alps, seems like a great place to get some Mojo with the Mojito

The 3D printed protection for preventing accidental button presses are amazing!

Could you share the design files?

It is worth noting that you have to get new screws for the button module, which will be M2 (2mm diameter) size, and 4mm + height of the 3D printed protection in length.

Also the velcros for positioning are a great idea

Glad you appreciate the work

Sure, here is the file for the “button protector” part: Button Protector v20.stl (61.3 KB)

It adds about 2.5mm of depth. I think I used M2 screws of length 6mm and they worked fine.

Happy hacking!
