Forgive me for I’m not very tech savvy and have changed something to my working setup that has left me unable to use my Live15 controller.
I’m using Ableton Live 12 Suite and when I’ve received my Live15 controller I have placed the “YaeltexUniversal_Live15_v2_1 2” script in Ableton’s package content. This worked perfectly and I’ve been using it like that.
I wanted to change some of the midi mappings so in Kilowhat I have loaded the default configuration from the server, in which i’ve made some changes to the faders (0-100) instead of 0-127). Simple I thought, I clicked “Send to device”. After that my controller became unusable. Inside Ableton all sort of things were being triggered such as stop and play etc.
I wanted to go back to how the device originally was and my logic was, just re-instal the firmware and then you can just use the script that was in Ableton’s package content. So using YTX Firmware Manager i’ve uploaded “ytx-main-controller-v0_24-live15” onto my LIVE15 device which hasn’t done anything other than turning off all the led lights and also ableton doesnt recognize the trigger area for the clips.
I’m hoping there’s someone here who can help me undo the mistakes i’ve made. And for me to go back to how I have originally received the device.
