i have respectively had a problem with a digital encoder: every time i click the „midi“ configure button in ableton or whenever i switch channels with my push one digital encoder receives a rotary feedback…the corresponding value within ableton doesn’t change, only some leds of the encoder ring light up…after fiddling around some time i found the solution for this:
when i deactivate „midi“ from the source port, i don’t get the false rotary feedback…
this is strange since i don’t have anything connected to midi, i exclusively use the controller via usb…
