I have an arcade button mapped to tap tempo in Ableton.
Can I make the associated LED indicate the Ableton tempo?

Never use it before, but here is a little m4l that maybe do the trick

I will add this one to the “nice to have” list of the Remote script.
The creator says it removes the ability to undo, which is a dealbreaker for me.
Can I send a simple midi note every 4th to the Yael and have that trigger a blink?

Ouch, that’s a bummer.

Sure, that’s possible. You can also use the new [“Value to intensity”] feature.
It should be something like this:
1 - Configure the button in Kilowhat as a NOTE and activate “value to intensity” in the feedback section.
2 - Add a midi track on Ableton and set the MIDI TO to your controller and the OUTPUT CHANNEL to 15 ( you can change the midi channel if you need in the Kilowhat’s preferences)
3- Add a midi clip on the track created in step 2, the notes should be the same as the ones you configure your button to be. (if the button is set to send NOTE 0, the notes should be C-2 in Ableton, and so on)
