Vu meter feedback on encoder ring configurable?

Hi,

is there a way to define the scaling and colour of the vu meter feedback on the encoder ring?

Hello @bbaker!

Welcome to the forum :slight_smile:
This is not a feature currently. VU meter scaling expects values from MIN to MAX defined on the corresponding rotary encoder configuration.
Colors are fixed for now.

If you agree, I’ll move this post to the feature request section of the forum so people who also would like it, can comment and vote on it

I’ll also add it to the feature request list, to consider it in upcoming updates.

…just for explanation: i have my metering plugin (blue cat’s dp meter pro) configured in two ways (for different levels of gain staging): one with the “red” starting at -12 and the other with the “red” starting at -8…it would be very handy if i could have that behaviour visualized on my controller’s encoder ring…
