Hy there.
I have a minor issue that it would be nice to have a solution:
If I use an encoder switch as a keystroke, the light indicator gets an offset indication.
The encoder feedback is in Pivot mode so the default indicator supposed to be at the center as it does when the button set to midi note.
I attached a photo of it -
both encoders are identical exapt the right one switch set to key stroke.
the secound thing i notice is that i loose the center marker, the left one gets Cyan color when it centered.
Thanks in advanced.
Oren.
Hey @orange.afx!
Thanks for reporting and sorry for the delay
I just got to test this today
You are right about the offset when configuring pivot feedback mode for the rotary feedback and keystroke messages on the switch, we’ll investigate what’s causing this and try to give you a firmware to test the fix when we find it
About the different color indicator in the center of the pivot feedback, this I can confirm that it’s not lost when configuring the keystroke.
Try changing the speed of the encoder to one with acceleration, or to a lower fixed speed.
It may just be that since the FIXED faster modes jump values and it may not be stopping at 64 ever.
If you go all the way to 0 or to 127 with the encoder that you say is working correctly in this aspect, you will see that it goes over the center flashing a different color briefly, and then it goes to the normal color again.
Cheers and merry christmas!
